Trina was born and raised on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevadas. Trina loves to express her passion for the landscapes she paints. She graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in painting from Sacramento State University California and worked as a graphic designer and art director.

Trina loves to paint landscapes that spark happiness. In 2021 she relocated to Reno, Nevada. Exploring and hiking in the western landscape has always been at the core of who she is and she paints to share her love for tall mountains, high-country lakes, granite, deserts and oceans. Most days you’ll find her painting, either in studio or en plein air. She draws inspiration from many artists past and present and has studied under Matt Smith, Scott Christensen and Skip Whitcomb and has attended workshops with Jill Carver, Kimball Geisler, Randall Sexton, Matt Smith and Kathleen Dunphy.
