Oil and Cold Wax

I am drawn to nature and I experience it first hand living in the shadow of the beautiful Sierra Nevada. I take daily walks and explore the trails in the Wetlands, Mount Rose Wilderness as well as Tahoe. I also like to travel to new places. The unique nature of these spots inspires my creativity. I usually take a lot of photographs to bring back to my studio to use as a reference for my paintings. Using the mediums of oil and cold wax, I transform my art paper and wood panels using an intuitive style where my heart chooses the colors, textures, and design.
