Saundra Saling is a native Nevadan currently living in Reno whose work is inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the nearby mountains, high desert, and Lake Tahoe. Her work celebrates bold color, movement, and the natural beauty of the Sierra and the surrounding desert environment.
Saundra creates hand-painted silk art using vibrant dyes to bring color and movement to life. Working on both wearable pieces and wall art, each design is painted directly onto silk, allowing the dyes to flow organically and create one-of-a-kind patterns. Her work celebrates bold color, expressive design, and the unique beauty of silk as both a fine art surface and a wearable canvas.
