As a child, I was fortunate to be introduced to fine art as a young student at The Art Institute of Chicago. There, I took classes in their “Junior” School. I wandered the galleries mesmerized, viewing huge wonderful paintings by Seurat and Toulouse-Latrec, and smaller treasures by Cezanne, Gauguin, Monet, and Renoir.

Contemporary exhibits arrived, such as works of Warhol, Johns, and Rothko. For an introverted child like me, these works became my familiar friends.

Now at this stage in my life, I renew my relationship with fine art and seek community involvement with other artists. I commit to the study, work, and execution of fine art painting. I enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of an artist, my eyes and seek to share my work through exhibitions.
