Mixed Media

Helen Yoder is a self-taught artist in a variety of mediums such as oil, encaustic, watercolor and gouache. Her early influence was her grandmother, a well-known artist in northern Kentucky.
Her work is currently being shown at Nevada Artists Assoc., Carson City, and Artists Co-op in Reno.
Currently, Mixed Media is my favorite since it involves a variety of mediums and techniques. Many times my work evolves into something completely different from where I started.
