Hello Local Artists! The Artists Co-op Gallery of Reno is pleased to, once again, host the Latimer Art Club’s Annual Miniature Art Show and Sale. This popular Juried/Judged exhibit has become a favorite among local artists and art collectors. We are happy to pass this information on to you and hope you will participate.

All Nevada Residents 18 years and older are invited to enter.
This year’s Jurors/Judges: Pam Brekas AND Teri Sweeney
Cash prizes and ribbons are awarded for Best of show, First, Second, and Third places in each category. Ribbons are awarded for honorable mentions.
There are five categories in this juried/judged exhibition. (1) Oil/Acrylic, (2) Water Media, (3) Pastel, (4) Graphite/Ink/Drawing, (5) Mixed Media and other. No photography including digital art allowed.
Entry fee for up to four entries – $30 for Latimer Art Club members, $40 for non-member entrants.
The total image area of the artwork must not exceed 36 square inches – i.e. 4×6, 5×7, 6×6 inches
Frame opening size cannot exceed 80 square inches – i.e. 8×10 inches, and the width of the frame molding cannot exceed 1 ½ inches.
All entries must be framed EXCEPT for gallery-wrapped canvasses and finished edge “cradle board” paintings. All must be wired for hanging, no easel backs or sawtooth hangers. LAC compliance team and judges have the right to reject unacceptable entries. An entry label must be affixed to the back of each painting, filled out with the price, not including sales tax. Labels are on the Members Area of the website.
All artwork must be for sale. A 35% commission to the Artists Co-op Gallery will be applied.

Entries may be delivered to the ACR gallery September 21st to September 27th. Entries must be received by 1pm on the 27th. The gallery is open 11am – 4pm, 7 days a week.
Entries may be Mailed: Send to show chairperson: Eileen Fuller 233 Liberty Springs Ct. Sparks, NV 89436. Entries must be received by September 25th. Please include return postage label and completed Maker’s Paradise entry form if you wish any unsold pieces to be transported there per the end-of-show information below.
Opening Reception and Awards ceremony: Sunday, October 6th 12 – 4 pm. (Awards at 2:30 pm). For our receptions, we ask you to bring some food to share or a bottle of wine. If you are unable to attend, please contribute $10 to the refreshment fund.
END OF SHOW INFORMATION:
Pick up day: Friday, November 8th 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, unless you give permission for LAC to move your unsold pieces to Maker’s Paradise Gallery at Reno Public Market for the “2nd Chance Santa Sale” to run from Nov. 9th to Dec. 30th. This permission will be noted with a second entry form on the Members Area of the website . Please drop off your completed form with entries. This second venue was highly successful last year, with art shown to a new audience and more sales. We will ask you to participate in a reception there on Saturday, December 7th, from 2-6 PM. If you choose not to participate in the second show, November 8 is pick-up at ACR. If you are unable to come in that day, please get a friend to pick up or contact the gallery.
